Come worship with us at the Oratory of St. Catherine! 
St. Catherine’s in Farming is once again opening its doors for occasional masses as well as funerals, weddings and ecclesial celebrations for the faithful with ties to the Farming Community. Donations can be sent to State Bank of Richmond.

Farming Community Center

Located in the former Farming School Building is the Farming Community Center. It is a non-profit organization, and supported in part by rental fees. The Board of Directors meet the first Thursday every other month, or as needed. Currently that is set at February, April, June, August, October, and December. Several rooms are available to rent for special activities including the gym, former class rooms and the kitchen. In addition, Farming Township and the Farming Lions Club rent rooms on an ongoing basis. To inquire about reserving a room call 320-597-3884. 

 
 

The Farming Lions Club was established in 2006 and currently has approximately 48 members. The club meets the second and fourth Mondays at 8:30 p.m. from September through May at the Farming Community Center.

The group prides themselves on helping to keep four miles of township ditches clean by picking up garbage. They host an Annual Fish Fry and sell Christmas Wreaths during the holidays to help raise funds for their community outreach projects.

Officers are President Peter Thelen, Vice President Kory Wieber, Secretary Sharon Holthaus, and Treasurer Marlene Statz.
